ANNOUNCING . . .THE CLOZAPINE COURSE
In the UK, as in many other countries, the management of treatment-resistant schizophrenia is often poor, mostly due to the under-use of clozapine. Medicines in Mental Health has created an on-line course specifically to address this.
The Clozapine e-Learning Hub is the platform for Clozapine Course. The course consists of a series of modules, each one covering a specific aspect of the recognition and management of treatment-resistant schizophrenia with an extensive overview of the evidence-based use of clozapine including initiation, optimisation, management of side effects, and options when clozapine isn't effective.
Knowing that clinicians are very busy and are often pressed for time, each module lasts for only 15 minutes and can be accessed from anywhere there is an internet connection - on a smartphone, a tablet or iPad, or a pc or a Mac. It's suitable for all clinicians - psychiatrists, nurses and pharmacists.
